The "Apple Café Meguri" in Hirosaki City, where you can eat sweets using apples, will be held until November 30th.

The third year of the event is a stamp rally that goes around cafes and coffee shops in the city that co-sponsor the harvest season of apples. If you order a menu using apples, you can get one stamp at participating stores, and if you get two stamps you can exchange it for one apple. 36 stores participated this year. Held as part of the "Hirosaki Apple Expo".

"There are many attractive cafes in the city, and there are many apple menus unique to Hirosaki, which boasts the highest yield in Japan," says Katsumi Miyagawa, the secretariat of the event. "I want not only citizens but also tourists to use it," he said.

There are many coffee shops in the city, compared to the scale of the city, such as the well-established coffee shop "Manchan", which was founded in 1929 (Showa 4), and the "Taisho Roman Cafe", which uses a Western-style building of a registered tangible cultural property. Miyazaki says that all the shops participating in this event are located within 2 km of the downtown area from Hirosaki Station to Hirosaki Park, and "the appeal of Hirosaki is within walking distance".

Participants who redeemed will be presented with a lottery such as "ownership rights of apple tree" and "assortment of cider and opening of apple tree". Stamp cards are available from each sponsor store. Exchange apples at "Fresh Farm FORET" in Hiroro (Ekimaemachi, Hirosaki City) underground.

Up to 1,500 apples can be exchanged.
