Hiromi's Japanese sweets shop "Omashiji Kaigendo Kawashima" (Shinagawa-cho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-32-8556), the renewed "Kimipurin", is currently attracting attention.

Dowa Confectionery Store, which manufactures and sells 40 to 50 types of Japanese confectionery and is run by Masaaki Kawashima, the third owner. Mr. Kawashima has been actively disseminating information via Twitter since 2010, and followers from outside the prefecture may come to the store.

"Takemi" is a brand corn that can be found in the Uke area, which is approximately 450 meters above sea level, and has a sweetness of 18 to 20 degrees. In recent years, it has been a hot topic on TV and other gatherings, and from early August to mid-September, customers who are seeking to buy from inside and outside the prefecture gather.

“Takemipurin has been on the market for more than 10 years,” says Kawashima. "At the time, it was a pudding made from paste-like bamboo shoots. I had an idea of a product that tastes the grain of bamboo shoots, and I was thinking of renewing it, but since the season is limited even for trial production, it is quite possible to implement it. I didn't."

Prototype in early August when you got this year's peak. The pudding was made in two layers, and the upper layer was made of bamboo grain as it was and hardened with the bamboo grain jelly. "Water comes out of the grains. The jelly also has a role to stop," says Kawashima. Use vegetable agar instead of gelatin for the lower pudding. "I'm a Japanese sweets shop," he smiles.

When it started selling from August 19, it sold about three times as much as expected, and some repeaters purchased 30 at a time. On the internet, there were reactions such as "it seems that you can go as many as you want" and "delicious", and Akira Sakuma, the creator of the popular game "Momotaro Dentetsu" asked, "Will we add to Hirosaki's property from now on? I'm sorry!” and tweeted on my Twitter.

Kawashima says, “I knew the name of the game, but I didn't play it, so I was surprised to hear the meaning of “house” and the story of Mr. Sakukuma from my friend. I will try the game.”

Sales are scheduled for September. The sales after October are undecided. “For now, I want to offer it according to your season,” says Kawashima.

The price is 280 yen (excluding tax).
