The season is later than normal edamame, and the harvest begins around late September. It is characterized by large grains and strong sweetness, and its taste is also compared to that of chestnut.

The contest is aimed at competing for the taste and appearance of hair beans and discovering the beans that have the most delicious hairiness. From this year, the screening method will be updated, and general participants will also be added to the screening, and the taste and appearance of "hairyness" will be asked more than last year.
