On September 12, alongside the Hashu Kaido, a curry and rice specialty store "CHANTLOOSE" (Matsumori Town, Hirosaki City) opened.

Taku Terazawa, the owner of the shop, thought that he would like to own his own shop someday because he could not forget the curry that he had eaten at a guest house in Kyoto seven years ago. While learning spices by himself, gain experience gaining curry at event venues. The fact that the famous coffee shop "Do you know my Tama?" Was vacant in the city also triggered the opening of the shop.

The store area is about 8 tsubo and the number of seats is 10. The interior and exterior are all handmade, and the entrance door was made to look at the finished exterior, and I asked Miyamako (Dote Town), which handles old furniture. The store name "Chantrouse" is a coined word created by combining "chanting" and "liberation." He explains with a smile that Mr. Terasawa's meaning is "proper looseness".

There are currently two types of menus, "Keima" WILD "curry" and "Chicken" MILD "curry" (800 yen or more). In the future, we plan to increase the original menu of green curry and marbo tofu curry using curry spices. There are also menus that use dashi stock such as bonito flakes and dried sardines as a hidden taste, showing confidence that it is an arrangement that matches the taste of Tsugaru people.

Mr. Terasawa said, "We aim for a curry that is delicious and interesting." “I've never been to India or Sri Lanka, but I would like to offer original spice curries made by Japanese people who have referred to Indian curry and Sri Lankan curry.”

Business hours are from 11:30 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00 (finished as soon as the curry runs out). Closed on Mondays.
