On March 3rd, near the Masugata police box in Hirosaki, the Naples pizza specialty store "Pizzeria Gina Kikko" (Bunkyo-cho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-55-8065) opened.

The same store that offers Neapolitan pizza from Makiki. Narita Teruhisa and Rikako's couple run. Teruhisa is from Kawagoe and is in charge of cooking, and Rikako from Hirosaki, who is a wine sommelier qualifier, is in charge of wine.

The two run the Pizzeria da Achiran (Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture) for five years until June 2017. Teruhisa said, “The new store was opened up,” due to changes in the family such as childbirth and child-rearing, and the timing of renovation of the old store that was too small and the current store.

The store was renovated in the 42-year-old apartment on the first floor with three rooms under the theme of "calm space". The store area is 30 tsubo, the number of seats is 30, and private rooms are also available. The store name "Gina Kikko" is a coined word that rearranges the flour and dough that are essential for Naples pizza.

Teruhisa worked for a Japanese restaurant under the influence of the sushi chef's father, but turned into an Italian restaurant. “I was fascinated by the cooking methods that made use of the ingredients and the abundance of seasonings,” says Teruhisa. The flour for pizza uses "Haruyutaka" from Hokkaido. Show confidence that "the chewy texture, flour flavor, and umami taste of Japanese people".

For lunch, you can choose a pizza or pasta drink set (1,000 yen), a salad set (1,100 yen), a lunch set (1,500 yen), etc. For dinner, we offer a variety of pizzas (1,000 yen and up), pasta (1,000 yen and up), and assorted dishes (1,200 yen and up) such as raw ham "Luliano Prosciutto 16 months" (800 yen and up). It offers a drink menu such as glass wine (600 yen and up) and homemade limoncello (550 yen). Tax not included.

“It is absolutely necessary to bake Naples pizza in the fireplace, but it was not possible at the old store. I am happy that it was finally realized at the new store. Hope you can enjoy cooking and drinking,” Teruhisa says. "I would like to try cooking foods made in our own fields or using locally-produced foods."

Rikako says, "Sake and ham go well together, and I would like to suggest ways to enjoy Italian food, not just wine."
