The second rice field art venue in Inakadate Village, Aomori, began open to the public on June 15.

Rice field art, where rice fields are used as canvases and different colors of rice are used to draw pictures. The theme of this year's No. 1 rice field art was "Oshin," a NHK serial television novel that was broadcast in 1983, and the theme of No. 2 rice field art was "Mother and Issho", a program for children on NHK/E-TV.

The 1st rice field art venue is divided into two rice fields on the left and right. On the left side, a seven-year-old shin leaves his parents for service, and on the right side, Shiro Ito and Pinko Izumi play Oshin's parents. The venue was created on May 26th with the experience of planting about 1,300 people, and was open to the public the next day.

At the second rice field art venue, the characters that appear in the puppet play "Garapikopu" are drawn from left to right in the order of Skipper, Choromy, Curio, Garapico, Pucci Margo, and Mumu. The venue was planted on June 5th and 6th by the villagers and all the students of Onoe General High School (Hirakawa City, Aomori Prefecture).

Both are in full bloom in mid-July.

Published until October 6th. Admission is 300 yen for adults (junior high school students and above) and 100 yen for children (free for preschoolers) at each venue. From September 30, only the first venue will be free.
