The Shikawa Aomori Hirosaki store in Ginza (Miyakawa, Hirosaki, TEL 0172-40-2441) opens in a residential area in Hirosaki and Miyagawa on June 27.

This shop sells only "Bread" (2 loaf = 800 yen) that uses alkaline ionized water in the manufacturing process. The Ginza main store (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) opened in September last year, and the Hirosaki store will be the 10th store in Japan and the first store in Tohoku.

We are particular about one store and one workshop, and anticipate demand for “reward for yourself” and “gifts and presents”. Aim for extraordinary demand, not bread that can be eaten everyday. The theme of the store is "Japanese modern".

At the Ginza head office, it is said that 9 months have passed since the number of preparations has been sold out every day, and reservations are filled up to 3 weeks ahead. Hitoshi Takahashi, president, said, “Because Hirosaki is a castle town, I feel a cultural atmosphere in Aomori Prefecture. There are many sweets and bakeries, and I will challenge whether bread made in Ginza can be used.”

Takahashi started his business from 15 years of experience in the bread industry. Mr. Takahashi said, “We used to use weakly acidic water for bread, but overturning that common sense and using alkaline water brought out the umami of the ingredients and became a sweet bread.” Show me.

Prior to opening, we will accept telephone reservations from 12:00 on June 17th. Furoshiki (four-colored furoshiki) (1,200 yen) will also be sold in the store.

Business hours are from 11:00 to 18:00. All prices exclude tax.
