A craft event "Tsugaru Mori Tsugarumori 2019" will be held on May 25th and 26th at Iwakiyama Sakurarin Park (Momozawa, Hirosaki City).

This is the 7th largest craft event in Aomori prefecture. Ceramics, glasswork, and woodwork products produced by 126 handicraft writers all over Japan will be gathered together, and 30 restaurants will open. "The number of writers in their twenties has increased this year," said Hitoshi Soma, the executive committee chairman.

The number of visitors announced by the organizer is about 30,000 every two days every year. Not only traffic jams in the car, but also lines such as toilets can be formed in the venue. Mr. Soma calls, "The peak is from 10:00 to 11:00. Please shift the time back and forth, or if you can cooperate with the car as much as possible while riding," he calls.

"Last year there was a report that cars waiting for traffic jam on the steep slope near the venue. There is a risk of cars retreating on slopes. The spaces between cars will be opened more than usual, side brakes and engine stop functions will be used as much as possible. I want you to be careful not to have an accident.

"We predict that the temperature on the day of the event will rise to nearly 30 degrees Celsius. Don't forget to take sunscreen and heat stroke measures," he calls for the visit.

Holding time is 25th = 10am to 5pm, 26th = 9am to 6pm.
