The Hirosaki Sakura Festival started on April 20th at Hirosaki Park (Shiragin-cho, Hirosaki City).

The garden where about 2,600 cherry trees in 52 species bloom. It is said that the best time to see Somei Yoshino is from late April to early May, so it overlaps with Golden Week, and it is said that 2 million tourists visit each year. This year, the new era name will be "Reiwa" during the event, and a large number of consecutive holidays of 10 consecutive holidays will be held.

At the opening ceremony held at Hirosaki Castle Honmaru, we installed and introduced a large panel of "Sakura Miku" who became the supporting character of the festival, and Mayor Hiroshi Sakurada was on the 1st of May in accordance with the change, Hirosaki Castle Honmaru・We declared that we would open facilities in the city such as Kita no Guo, Hirosaki Castle Botanical Garden, and Fujita Memorial Garden for free.

In the annual balloon release that closes the opening ceremony, balloons with the 130th anniversary logo of the city administration were blown into the blue sky with the kindergarten children.

According to the flowering situation announced on the same day by the Hirosaki City Park and Greenery Division, the garden (standard tree) has begun to bloom and the outer moat has bloomed for 1 minute. Expected full bloom to be 24th.
