The Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store (Hirosaki-shi station square) underground passage "Yokozai Calligraphy Class Exhibition" started on March 2nd.

Sponsored by the Sakura-style calligraphy class (Fujisaki Town) opened by Sakura-fu Miura of the Sakura-style branch of the Japan Education Calligraphy Association. The works will be exhibited in an underground passage about 40 meters long that connects the Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store to the multistory parking lot.

Themes such as "brands of sake" and "favorite entertainers" that have been used in the past have been called every year on the Internet as "too free", and in 2017, the special move that appeared in the manga "Hokuto no Ken" At the exhibition, Tetsuo Hara of the drawing contacted me, and it got so much attention that it was introduced on the official blog.

Mr. Miura says, “We started with the idea of having a fun brush. Some children are now capable of winning prizes at national competitions.” Currently, 22 children from the first grade of elementary school to the first grade of high school attend the classroom. "The number of opportunities for media coverage, such as TV coverage, is increasing year by year, but the number of students is still increasing," he says with a smile.

This year's theme is "creatures that have become extinct for unfortunate reasons" "funny station names" "words that parents are happy about, unpleasant words" "favorite TV programs" "Mikuni will" "temple name" "masterpieces of the world" "Ikee" Message to Rikako” etc. About 300 works are on display.

Regarding the selection of themes, Mr. Miura reveals, "I asked the children to choose from interesting books and found a theme in their usual conversations with the children."

"Message to Rikako Ikie" is a urgent plan because Miura-san is currently fighting illness. Mr. Miura has also submitted an exhibition, and is making thoughts for Mr. Ikie, who is also suffering from the same illness.

Holding time is from 9:00 to 21:00. free entrance. Until March 29th of this month.
