The drip bag coffee "Tsugaru Haunted Coffee", which is being sold at Hirosaki's B-type business office "Tsugarunetto" (Shiroto, Hirosaki, TEL 090-9531-1131), is gaining popularity.

This product is packaged by Tsugaru Net users. Using 8 grams of original blended beans, the illustration of the scenery of the Tsugaru area centered around Hirosaki and the youkai is featured. According to Tsugaru-net representative Takeshi Kitaoka, "We started selling in September 2017 when our company was founded, and the sales have been well received. The number of stores handling it is increasing little by little."

Mr. Yoshimaru Sasaki is drawing the illustration. Originally a user, he is now independent and is trying to make an illustrator a living.

Sasaki became interested in Ukiyo-e while studying illustrations at a vocational school in Tokyo. "I have a class that involves copying or arranging Ukiyo-e, and I like Kuniyoshi Utagawa and Yoshitoshi Tsukioka, who I knew at that time. I put the two names "Yo" in the pen name," Sasaki said.

At present, he continues to produce at a pace of once a month, and there are about 30 types, including those that are not products. “I don't have any inspiration, but I like ghost stories and youkai, and I draw a youkai with the cityscape that seems to be there,” he says. Mr. Sasaki actually walks through the city of Hirosaki, chooses the scenery, and thinks about the explanatory note on the back cover.

In September last year, the first solo exhibition was held at the Hyakusekicho Exhibition Hall (Hyakusekicho). Mr. Sasaki smiles, "I was able to open a solo exhibition asking many people to see it. Even now, when I see drip coffee products, it is mysterious and embarrassing."

The suggested retail price is 100 yen. At present, the sound of time (Kitayoko-cho), Fukuroku Aburaya (Oshimizu), Farmer's Kitchen (Dote-cho), etc. are sold only in Hirosaki city. It is also used at the antenna shop "Hugwork" in Hirosaki City Hall (January 25, February 22, March 29 only).
