The final screening of the "14th National High School Fashion Design Championship" (Fashion Koshien 2014) was held in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture.

The competition is a national competition of fashion design contests by high school students. This year, 1839 teams from 151 schools from 43 prefectures nationwide participated. From the 3547 entries, 35 works were selected in the first screening, and a fashion show-style final screening was held.

The winner of this year was "branchial respiration" from Hirosaki Jitsugyo High School. The school became the second crown for the first time in three years. Mr. Tomoko Kasai, a third-year high school student who designed and modeled the work, commented, "I like fish and expressed the inner beauty."
