The "Hirosaki Castle Chrysanthemum and Autumn Leaves Festival" kicked off on October 19th in Hirosaki Park (Shimohiragin-cho, Hirosaki City), and Akita Inu's "Shodai" made his business debut.

Katsudai is one of four born with the Akita dog "Masaru" given to Arena Zagitowa, a female figure skating medalist. Born on February 15th, he weighs about 28 kg and is 60 cm tall. It was unveiled at a tourist facility on October 17, and it was the first time to visit the prefecture.

The Akita Inu Corner was set up to coincide with the Autumn Leaves Festival that started on the same day. Katsudai appeared as a centerpiece, with many voices such as "cute" and "fluffy", and there were many spectators who turned their cameras. In the same corner, Akita dogs such as tiger and red tiger will be exhibited until 21st.

In the park, where 1000 maples and 2600 cherry trees turn red, the chrysanthemum dolls will be exhibited and illuminated during the festival until November 11.

The Akita dog corner is open from 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00.
