On October 3rd, "Nomura Yudai Neputa Picture Exhibition" was held at "Gallery Mannaka" located on the premises of Konan Railway Chuo Hirosaki Station (Yoshino-cho, Hirosaki City).

Hirosaki Gakuin University's 4th year student Neputa artist Yudai Nomura's first solo exhibition. In addition to the 26 new paintings and new works that were exhibited at the "Hirosaki Neputa Asakusa Festival" and the "Japan Expo" held in Sri Lanka this year, 26 new works and photos of past works will be displayed.

Nomura-san started drawing Neputa when he had a deep emotion, and when he was an elementary school student, he was drawing Neputa in front of a kindergarten that he graduated from. He made his debut as a Neputa artist in 2016. The reason for this was that he was in charge of the Neputa group of the Neputa group "Kaiyoukai". Nowadays, the number of requests from Neputa groups has increased, and I've started drawing Neputa pictures from Hirakawa and Fujisaki.

The admired Neputa artist is Nomura-san, such as Setsudo Takemori and Tokyu Miura. "I am impressed not only by the painting but also by the way of life and attitude as a Neputa artist." "After graduation, I want to live as a Neputa artist, so I am encouraged."

According to the “Mannakazukuri Executive Committee,” which operates the gallery, the biggest response since its opening in April was that it attracted a wide range of customers from students to seniors on the first day. Mr. Nomura smiles, "I want my children to come. I hope you will be interested in Neputa paintings."

During the period, Mr. Nomura will be in the gallery except when there are classes.

Holding time is from 13:00 to 19:00. Until the 8th of this month. free entrance.
