Shiro Shibata, a photographer living in Hirosaki, will hold a photo exhibition "Poor visibility" on September 15 at "Island Gallery" (Chuo-ku, Tokyo).

Mr. Shibata, who mainly shoots the scenery of Aomori, will exhibit and sell 26 photos taken over 7 years under the theme of "poor visibility".

Mr. Shibata says that he started taking pictures in 2010 when he bought a camera. “At first, I changed the shutter speed, and I found it interesting to be able to express something different from what you see in a photograph,” he recalls.

After being posted on SNS etc., in 2014, we received semi-selection at the 62nd Nikkor Photo Contest Part 2 and held "Google+ Three-person Photo Exhibition 2014", and also exhibited jointly at Fujifilm Square (Minato Ward). I went. “A lot of things happened this year,” he smiles.

I have been holding a solo exhibition every year since 2015, and this is my fourth exhibition. Mr. Shibata said, "Until now, it was a photo exhibition that set themes such as "railroad" and "Tsugaru", but this time, I will exhibit a picture that reflects my inner feelings and images from photographs that deviate from past theme works. There is."

"I'm happy that you can look at each piece for as long as possible. There are things that can be seen because the visibility is not clear, and each one should bring it home."

Holding time is from 11:00 to 19:00. free entrance. Until 24th.
