On September 7, Hirosaki City Machinaka Information Center (Dote Town, Hirosaki City) opened an original reproduction of the cartoon "Flying Witch".

This exhibition was planned to commemorate the publication of the 7th volume of the latest comic book. Twenty-four original reproductions will be exhibited at the venue.

A 15-year-old witch, Makoto Kobata, who moved from Yokohama to Aomori, depicts the everyday life he spends with his relatives. Hirohiro-based manga artist Chihiro Ishizuka has been serialized in "Separate Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2012.

In the new issue, "Yomiya", introduction of Hirosaki Neputa, and various places in Hirosaki city will also appear. Mr. Ishizuka says, "I'm digging deeper into witches in this volume. From volume 7 onward, we will gradually approach the core of the existence of a witch."

Pilgrimage notebooks that were installed at three Hirosaki locations are also lined up at the exhibition site. The person in charge said, "There are still many fans who are enthusiastic about visiting Hirosaki, and the pilgrimage notebook has the message of people from all over the country. Even if it leads to "hospitality" unique to the local area," he said.
