    The "Yurei Exhibition" is currently being held at the gallery "Gallery Moriyama" in Hirosaki (Kisaki Hirosaki, TEL 0172-35-6787).

    This exhibition displays ghost paintings and hell paintings owned by seven temples in the Tsugaru region. Yui Moriyama, the owner of the store, says, "Many ghost paintings depict spirits that have a lasting impression on the world. The exhibition also includes memorial services." After the exhibition, it is said that a monk holds a memorial service for ghost paintings.

    On the 1st floor of the venue, "Kanazaburo Watanabe's decapitation diagram," which was once talked about as "the eyes moved" during live broadcasting of a TV program, and when Mr. Moriyama took it out of the box About 80 items are displayed, including a ghost painting that reveals. On the 2nd floor, there will be a special exhibition of ghosts and wooden toys for youkai created by Kokeshi maker Junichi Sasamori.

    Mr. Moriyama calls for the visit, "This summer when the heat wave continues, I want you to cool down as you see the ghost images."

    Business hours are from 10:00 to 16:00. Admission is 500 yen for adults and 300 yen for children. Until August 21st.
