    On July 20th, "The Traveling Art Exhibition with Glasses" began at the Aomori Museum of Art (Yasuda, Aomori City).

    With the theme of visual culture through lenses and mirrors such as "telescopes" and "microscopes", the exhibition features more than 250 visual works of the world, landscapes and perspectives of the times. As the third installment of the 2010 "Robots and Art" exhibition and the 2014 "Beauty and Art History" exhibition, it will be a joint project of the Shimane Prefectural Iwami Museum of Art and the Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art.

    The exhibition is divided into 6 themes. Landscape maps that utilize perspective and bird's-eye view (fukan) in the latter half of the Edo period, "deceived pictures," and works that used VR experiences are lined up. According to Mr. Kenshi Kudo, a curator and a member of the executive committee, Through the works from the Edo period to the present day, I want people to feel the universal desire of people to see and see invisible things."

    At the venue, an animated short film "Oshie To Tabi Suru Otoko" will be screened. Directed by Shigeyoshi Tsukahara, who is involved in live production animation and stage design cooperation for "SEKAI NO OWARI", Yoshimasa Hosoya and Yuki Kaji act as voice actors.

    The work will be divided into the first and second semesters, and will be redisplayed on August 12. At “Kamata_Soko” (Ota-ku, Tokyo), a special exhibition was held as a Tokyo satellite exhibition, and in addition to exhibiting works, live performances and talk events were also held.

    Mr. Kudo said, "This time, I'm using glasses as the theme from the perspective of the world's peephole for seeing invisible things. I want you to fully enjoy the world of human dreams and desires related to vision, which art and technology show." Call.

    Admission is 1,500 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for high school students, and free for elementary and junior high school students. Opening hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 (admission until 17:30). Until September 2nd.
