Hirosaki's general store "bambooforest" (Daikanmachi, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-35-4520) is currently holding a solo exhibition "Northern Analog".

This exhibition features 9 prints, mainly prints produced by Hiroshi artist MAJIO. The engraved "woodblock" is the first public work. From July 6th, we will hold a solo exhibition "South Digital" centering on digital collage works at "Sound Bar AZUL" in Oita, Kyushu.

MAJIO has been producing live paints, designs, prints, and video works based in Aomori. Currently, he is moving his base of activity to Tokyo and is producing and directing art projects. For the music festival "Summer Sonic", he has provided objects for the second consecutive year, and he has also worked on the station building paint at "Tanbo Art Station".

MAJIO says, "There is a "game" where you create a work that involves a lot of people, but concentrate on one work, and at this event, you played against each land."

Regarding the solo exhibition held in Oita, "When I was active in Aomori, DJs from Oita collaborated with me in Hirosaki. After returning to Oita, there was interaction, and there was a logo design and flyer for the venue. I'm working on it," says MAJIO.

"Because there is a relationship. If you work in the north and the south, you can do it in Hokkaido and Okinawa. Not only the top surface, but the people who live there are involved, I wanted to make something with contents. I had a strong desire to see the event and know the event, but recently I am making something I want to see. I am looking forward to what kind of satisfaction I will have after the event."

    Holding time is from 11:00 to 19:00. Until July 22. Closed on 3rd, 9th, 10th and 17th.
