On May 28, Kudo Pan (Kanazawa, Aomori City) announced a road safety publicity tie-up product with the Aomori Prefectural Police, "British Toast Amaou Strawberry Jam & Margarine".

"British toast," which is distributed only in part of the Tohoku region centered around Aomori prefecture, is also called "Aomori citizen's soul food" and is the main product of Kudo bread. Designed with the British flag on the package, it becomes a sweet bun that sandwiches margarine and granulated sugar between two mountain-shaped loaves.

According to a person in charge of Kudo Pan, the Aomori Prefectural Police consulted in January of this year, "Can you do a road safety tie-up plan?" This is the first collaboration between the Aomori Prefectural Police and a bread maker. It will be sold for a limited time until July 31st, in line with the "Seat Belt/Child Seat Wearing Emphasis Month" in June.

For the package, the diagonal line with the product name of "British toast" is used as a seat belt, and the road safety slogan "There is also a belt for close friends" that was highly evaluated by Kudo Pan's in-house monitor was posted. Aomori Prefectural Police symbol mascot "Apie-kun" and police cars are eye-catching.

Regarding the future, the person in charge said, "We are thinking positively about the efforts according to the seasons and events, and are considering the commercialization of "black melon bread," which calls for "Beware of the black iceburn" in the winter."

The manufacturer's suggested price is 120 yen. It will be sold at supermarkets, convenience stores (Ministop, Daily Yamazaki), and Kudopan dealers in Aomori Prefecture.
