Currently, the announcement booth of "15th Twisters 2018 in Aomori" is installed in Hirosaki, a commercial complex in Hirosaki (Ekimae-cho, Hirosaki City).

In addition to an arched photo spot next to the Hiroro Kids Hiroba on the 2nd floor of Hiroro, the booth also exhibited a balloon dress that you can actually wear. It was set up by Junko Sawajiri, who is the chairman of the executive committee and is a member of the balloon group "Nejiringo."

Ms. Sawajiri is a balloon artist living in Mutsu City, and is a certified CBA world-certified balloon artist. He started playing balloons when his child asked for them, and he has participated in the event since the first time. Mr. Sawajiri says, "I wanted to convey the charm and fun of balloons to the people of Aomori."

The event will be held for two days, June 9th and 10th, with Aomori Prefecture Tourist Product Center Aspam (Aomori City) reserved. For the first time in Aomori, 200 balloon artists "Twister" from all over Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa will gather to show their works and stage performances.

AKI-san, the "Kiiko no Kouko in the world of balloon performers," who has won the balloon Japan championship for the second time in a row and has participated in festivals both in Japan and overseas and has received various awards, will perform a stage show. In addition to holding balloon dresses and a contest about works under the theme of "zoo," we will also hold workshops such as balloon classrooms, and provide events such as ring throws and putter golf at the fair corner.

Mr. Sawajiri says with a smile, "It's a rare opportunity to see the performances of performers who are active in the world in Aomori. I hope you will be interested in the balloon work that was exhibited."

The exhibition is until June 3rd.
