    On August 4, the summer festival "Tachineputa" started in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture.

    In August, traditional summer festivals “Neputa” and “Nebuta” have begun to be held in various places in Aomori prefecture. Tachibuta is a Neputa festival in the city, where a large Neputa with a height of more than 20 meters, which is equivalent to a 7-story building, travels around the city. Unlike other areas, the call is "Yattemare, Yattemare".

    16 units, including 3 large Neputa, will appear this year. At the festival, one new large Neputa will be produced each year, which will be produced over a year. The total weight is about 19 tons. Over 600 tatami mats are used to shape the surface, about 150 light bulbs are used for lighting, and about 200 fluorescent lamps are used. The doll part is made by combining about 15-18 parts.

    This year's large-scale Neputa is the National Grand Battle Watouchi. The male figure of Watouchi who gives in to the tiger is entrusted to those who aim for recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and their prosperity in the future. This year's "Kashima Daimyojin and Earthquake Catfish", which depicts the scene of suppressing the catfish by treating the earthquake as a catfish.

    The festival is until the 8th of this month. Only on the last day, before the cruise, three large Tachitanbuta gather at the intersection at the starting point. It is only at this timing that the three cars will meet together.
