On April 20, the cheese specialty store "SHE/SHOCK/CHEESE" opened at the pop-up store booth near the entrance of Hirosaki's department store "Nakasan Hirosaki store" (Hirosaki city bank).

Specialty store selling world cheese selected by the owner, Ryuji Aizawa. Mr. Aizawa, who is from Kuroishi and is the eldest son of "Aizawa Shoji", a dairy product sales and delivery company, launched in 2016. Initially, the activities were limited to opening events and providing products to booths and corners inside the stores. It is the first time to open a store.

Mr. Aizawa grew up watching his father's job of delivering milk from an early age. He said he had a desire to “connect someday”. Moved to Tokyo for university. After working in a high-class supermarket, he says he was in charge of the dairy sales booth and studied cheese. "Milk alone cannot survive. I was able to find new ways to sell it," he said.

“I'm glad to see the face that surprises me and makes me happy when I try the proposed cheese,” said Aizawa. “The name of the shop is “tasting cheese”,” he smiles.

There are more than 10 types of menus available, including Parmigiano Reggiano (700 yen), French mimolette (800 yen), and Iberico cheese (market value) made by mixing cow, sheep and goat milk. A sandwich menu with cheese (280 yen), coffee (350 yen), beer (600 yen), and glass of wine (500 yen) are provided each week, and a drink menu is available to accommodate eat-ins. Place cheese in the cheese section on the first basement floor of Nakamitsu Hirosaki store.

Mr. Aizawa says, "Cheese goes well with Hirose's growing apple sake "Cider". I want to make cheese root in Hirosaki." He also has a dream of rebuilding his father's company. I still get up early in the morning and am working on milk delivery.

“The culture of delivering bottles of milk every morning is disappearing. If you arrange it in a modern way and leave it in a form that matches the times,” he is enthusiastic.

Business hours are from 10:00 to 15:00. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
