    The restaurant "Shokuraku Tavern 802" (Wakaba, Hirosaki City) that can perform live was opened in Hirosaki on April 10.

    Yuzen Sugimura, owner of “Pub 802” (Nakano), which closed in March 2011, resumed operations after seven years. It is run with Yoshinobu Sugimura, the eldest son.

    Mr. Sugimura says that he likes rock music, so he changed the store name to "802", which is one of the legendary British band "801" plus one. Even after "Pub 802" closed, there was a live stage, and he was looking for a place where he could enjoy a meal while listening to live music.

    The store area is about 50 tsubo. There are 50 seats including counters and tables. Opened in a house where the Chinese restaurant Morifutei closed in December last year. Mr. Sugimura says, "When the weather is nice, the location where you can see Mt. Iwaki and Hakkoda. You can set up a stage so I decided immediately."

    Lunch-time menus include daily Tokutetsu set meal (500 yen), pork ginger grilled set meal, hamburger set meal (more than 580 yen). Drink bar (390 yen, 220 yen for set). At dinnertime, we offer spaghetti meat sauce (750 yen), taco rice (600 yen), three kinds of cheese platter (880 yen), mixed pizza (800 yen), draft beer (500 yen), Guinness (680 yen), glass wine (450). An alcohol menu such as yen will also be prepared.

    From now on, we will accept live performances, etc., "I would like to provide a place where we can perform (performance)," says Sugimura. “I would like to further enhance the food and equipment. I want to meet customers' requests and create a space where I can enjoy music,” he shows his ambition.

    Business hours are from 11:30 to 14:00 and from 17:30 to 23:00. Closed on Mondays.
