Staff at Hirosaki's Starbucks match local PR at Hirosaki Sakura Festival
On April 18, a staff-made welcome sign was set up at "Starbucks Coffee Hirosaki Sakurano Store" (Takasaki, Hirosaki, TEL 0172-29-6851).
At the same time as the "Hirosaki Sakura Festival," the same efforts were made to provide hospitality unique to the store. We made Tsugaru kogin sashimi on a sleeve with the words "WELCOME TO Hirosaki Sakurano" at the entrance of the store, and also made a cup-shaped Neputa. Created from a skeleton, the Neputa picture was done by the staff who graduated from the art university up to "Rowa writing".
We installed a photo frame handwritten by the staff at the drive-through reception desk. “I wanted to do something because it was a place where I could only hand over,” says Sayaka Yamanaka, a staff member. Goldfish Neputa and small Neputa are available as shooting props. If you give a camera to the staff, they will take a picture.
Mr. Yamanaka says, “I wanted to convey the goodness of Hirosaki to all the tourists who come to the Hirosaki Sakura Festival and reassure the local people.” Upon preparation, we conducted a questionnaire from all staff. It was said that he chose the idea while he had an idea such as a message in the drive-through passage.
Yamanaka said that on the same day it was installed, there was a person who was happy to point the camera in the morning. He smiles, saying "I hope I can make the Hirosaki Sakura Festival even more exciting."
Installation is until May 6th.
