    On February 24, "Playable Cafe Triple" (Hiroshima City Hyakuseki-cho, TEL 0172-26-6133) will open near Hirosaki Park.

    This is the first cafe in Hirosaki where you can enjoy board games. It is run by Yu Kamiya from Tottori and Ayu Kamiya from Hirosaki, and they prepare about 200 types of board games collected from around the world.

    Yu and Ayu who met at a board game event in Tokyo. He got married in November last year, moved to Hirosaki in December, and opened the same day. Mr. Yu shows his willingness to say, "Board games have not yet penetrated in Aomori. I want to convey the fun of board games."

    Mr. Yu, who originally liked video games, started board games four years ago. It started when I was invited by a friend. Since then, Mr. Yu has come to want to own his own store someday. Ayumi says, “The appeal of board games is that anyone of all ages can enjoy. You can immerse yourself in an extraordinary world view, each time there is a different drama, and you can relieve stress.”

    The store name "Triple" was named after the two people loved birds, Apple, the apple, and the piece "Meeple" used in the popular board game "Carcassonne". The store area is about 20 tsubo. There are 20 seats. The price is 400 yen per hour and a maximum of 1,200 yen (on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, it will be cleared at 18:00). You can play all the board games in the store if you enter the facility with deferred payment.

    The menu includes coffee, cafe au lait, apple juice, and more (300 yen or more). Light meals such as hot sand (single item = 450 yen, drink set = 700 yen) are also available. It also supports bringing in board games.

    The opening day, 24th, will open from the ceremony held at 15:00. In addition to free admission, soup behaviour and Tsugaru's genuine (sweet) sweets "Imo Gutai" will be provided for free (end of use). The guest is a board game idol, Suzu Norameru. This is Hirosaki's first time as part of a trip to Japan for Bodoge.

    About the future, Mr. Yu shows a smile, "If we can have board games in Hirosaki, we will hold events such as days when we can play with parents and children and events where we can enjoy board games according to themes."

    Business hours are weekdays = 16:00 to 23:00, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays = 13:00 to 23:00. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (temporary business only on Mondays).
