    On February 9th, Aomori Inakadate and Hirosaki, "Snow Art," which draws patterns on unexplored snow, was opened to the public.

    Snow art that draws patterns and patterns on the snow with the footsteps you walked with snowshoes. Simon Beck, a snow artist and English artist, drew snow art at the second rice field art venue in Inakadate (Takahaga, Inakadate Village) in Inakadate in 2016 and 2017 as an application of the winter rice field art venue.

    This year, a group of local snow artists, "It's OK.", who acquired the skills of snow art under the guidance of Simon, was in charge. I drew snow art not only at the same venue, but also at Haruka Yume Stadium (Toyota, Hirosaki City).

    At the Inakadate venue (70 m long, 160 m wide), 11 people squeezed the snow for 7 hours. On the first day of the 9th, the production process was revealed. According to Mr. Masaru Suzuki of the same group, the pattern has a pattern with a snowflake and a star motif in the center and a pattern simulating the Inakan style earthenware on both sides.

    Mr. Suzuki calls, "Snow art is easily affected by the weather, but I want you to be able to see it firmly during the session. I want you to see the raw snow art." "Actually, Simon-san hasn't seen this snow art yet. I want you to see it soon."

    Both venues are open from 10:00 to 21:00. Light up from 17:00 to 21:00. The entrance fee to Inakadate is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary school students (free for preschoolers). Haruka Yume Stadium is free. Until the 12th of this month.
