    On December 14th, "Narita Senzo's "Lessons about Coffee"" was held at the Hirodai Cafe Narita Senzo Coffee (Bunkyo-cho, Hirosaki City) in Hirosaki University.

    The same course where you can learn about the history and culture of coffee and sample different beans. “We want to communicate the goodness of the right coffee, talk with each other, and connect people,” sponsored by Narita Senzo.

    Mr. Narita has run a coffee shop "Narita Senzo Coffee Shop" in Hirosaki for 43 years, to launch the "Aomori Coffee License Committee" for the purpose of developing coffee culture in the prefecture and to brand "City of Hiroshima Hirosaki" contribution. On December 11, this year, we received the "17th Hirosaki Chamber of Commerce and Industry City Development Grand Prix Regional Culture Promotion Category".

    The cafe, which opened in June last year, was one of the aims to convey the charm of coffee to students. Mr. Narita says, "I want to convey to the next generation coffee as a culture, not coffee that is easily consumed, to the next generation."

    In the course, Mr. Narita introduced what was said to be "a coffee is a bad drink for 40 years before it opened," and the differences between coffee beans in different regions. In the tasting of three types of coffee, Mr. Narita himself provided them with a nel drip, and participants compared the tastes and tastes of each coffee and compared them.

    Yano Iwashima, a 1st-year student at Hirosaki University's Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, smiled, saying "I participated because I liked coffee and was interested in it. I learned more about coffee."

    The course is three times. The second meeting will be held on January 18th in "About Hirosaki's Coffee History".
