On November 18, Hirosaki will hold a live event of game music "Witchi Taimu!! vol.4".

This is the 5th time for this event, which was planned by a citizen group that aims to establish pop culture such as animation and games in Aomori Prefecture.

Focusing on the theme of game music, the main guest invited Kenji Ito, a composer known for his work on the game software "Romancing Sa Ga" and "Sacred Legend" and the smartphone game "Puzzle & Dragons".

According to the event executive committee, the presence of Hirosaki City's official mascot character "Takamaru-kun" triggered Mr. Ito.

The creator of the same character, “Seno Shogo”, is the art director of the game planning and development company “Design Act” (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo). We have launched the "Hirosaki Creators Bank" project that utilizes local human resources together with Erika Yamamoto, president of "Design Act". Yamamoto is an old friend of Mr. Ito, and he heard that he was interested in Hirosaki when he heard about the project in the second year.

The venue, Tooku Gijuku High School Chapel, has the largest pipe organ in the prefecture, and the school organist Junko Mizuki will appear. The Tsugaru flute player Bunta Sato and Tsugaru shamisen player Kaoru Koyamauchi will also appear, and they will collaborate with Mr. Ito and perform songs by Mr. Ito himself playing the pipe organ.

A member of the executive committee smiles, saying, "Tsugaru's traditional music and game music can collaborate to convey the appeal of new music. We are looking forward to it than anyone else."

Open at 14:50, start at 15:20. Admission is 2,000 yen, and 1,500 yen using the Konan Railway Owani Line.
