Hirosaki University (Bunkyo Town, Hirosaki City) Bunkyo Campus will hold the "Hirosaki University Medical Exhibition" from October 27th to 29th.

As part of the Hirosaki University Cultural Festival, students from the University of Medicine's Faculty of Medicine held this exhibition for three days.

Divided into 12 booths such as "Surgery" and "Emergency", students plan and prepare themselves. Mr. Junichiro Ego, the representative of the exhibition, is confident that "There are new initiatives at each booth, so there is a mechanism that even repeaters can enjoy every year."

The booth, which had been "Obstetrics and Gynecology" until last year, will be called "Obstetrics" again, and there will be a fetus model exhibition and experience of pregnant women. The new birth simulation allows the experienced person to see the birth from the perspective of a midwife. Mr. Ego says, "You can see the appearance of the fetus born while rotating your body according to the shape of your pelvis,".

At the “psychiatry” booth, we set up a corner where you can experience the world of schizophrenia in a virtual reality (VR) environment. It is said that the contents are such that it is possible to understand symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions.

Two special lectures will be given during the period. From 14:00 on the 28th, the theme is "How to get a general physician for Aomori citizens-towards a super-aged society" to raise the awareness of "a general physician". As a science course, "Menopausal Disorders and Hormones-Whether hormones are cancer ally's enemy?" Each will be held in 304 classrooms of the general education building.

The mascot character "Kokoroinu" of the exhibition was renewed this year to create a second costume. Aim to attract more customers by wandering around the exhibition hall.
