"Maple House Yamamura" near Hyakusawa Onsen in Hirosaki (Hirosaki City Hyakusawa Terasawa) is currently attracting attention on the Internet as "I want to go.

This store sells maple syrup made from the sap of maple that grows naturally in the Iwaki Sankaku area. Yoshihiro Soma, the owner of the shop, purchased an empty house in June as a fun after retirement and renovated it as a store and work place. It opened on September 16th. Maple syrup is homemade by Soma-san, and is made by boiling the sap collected from March to April in a stove. The price is 2,000 yen with 80 grams. 3,000 yen for gifts with a case.

The origin of the story was that a woman who visited Hirosaki for sightseeing on September 30 introduced her to Twitter. According to Soma, a woman stopped by the store during the waiting time for the return bus to arrive. The number of retweets exceeds 28,000 (October 2, as of now, it is not open to the public) and is attracting attention.

Soma says that the tweets sent by women were spread in an instant, and that 30 to 40 people who saw the tweets visited on October 1st. "I have been informed by the customer that the internet is spreading. I don't know because I don't see the internet, but I'm surprised why it became a topic," he adds.

"I was a customer from outside the prefecture, so I gave me an apple when I returned. Maybe the apple in Aomori was good."

Mr. Soma said, "I didn't do any advertising, just put a handmade signboard such as "Maple syrup direct sales place" in front of the store. I thank the Twitter woman who stopped by when I saw it. I had the opportunity to drop by nearby. If you have any, please come visit us again."

"There are only 30-40 remaining maple syrups for this year. Currently, we are open only on Saturdays and Sundays on weekdays and open only on Saturdays and Sundays. Since we are particular about direct sales, we are not thinking of selling online. Come to Iwakiyama We would like you to enjoy the wonderful location and then buy it. We would like to make more maple syrup next year."

Business hours are 8:00 to 15:00.
