"DOG FES IWAKI 2017" will be held on October 1st at Iwaki Youth Sports Center (Tokiwano, Hirosaki City).

“Background was that dog walking was prohibited in all parks in Hirosaki City,” said Yasuhiko Miyagawa, the representative of the group. "Currently, the strolls are being lifted little by little, but the banned background is the poor manners of the owners, and it would be great if we could create an area where pets could coexist as much as possible."

On the day of the event, a fence will be set up in the venue and divided into five areas. In the community area, dogs can interact with each other, and once they have accepted, they can enter and leave freely. In the two challenge areas, you can try disc dog and agility dog sports, and you can also perform a flying disc dog demonstration.

In the career advancement area, you will be able to receive guidance from experts on grooming (grooming) and shooting techniques of your pet dog, as well as learn while demonstrating discipline and group training. The culture area sells merchandise and food and drinks, and there is also an exhibition from the Animal Welfare Center. We accept breeding consultations all day long, and from 12 o'clock, we will hold a lecture on the theme of "lifelong feeding".
