Rice field art in Aomori/Inakadate Village is now beginning to turn golden and is in full bloom.

Rice field art from the same village that draws designs using 13 kinds of 7 colors of rice. The feature is that the perspective drawing is used so that the drawing looks three-dimensionally from the view point. This year's theme is “Yamatano Orochi and Susano Onomikoto” at the first venue and “Momotaro” at the second venue.

Immediately after rice planting, the rice field art looks like a seedling in only two colors, but from mid-July to mid-August when it grows it reaches seven colors and is in full bloom. In autumn, the rice turns golden, and Mr. Takatoshi Asari, Planning and Tourism Division of the village, is confident that it will be colored with a sepia flavor.

At the venue, visitors were surprised and touched, and there was a person pointing their camera at the golden rice field art.

Asari said, “This year it was as expected and it was a year with little effect of typhoons and rainstorms. Since rice field art is a one-year work, it can only be seen live. Will cut off only the background, and it will be a rice field art with a different stereoscopic effect, so please come visit us.”

Admission is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary school students. Until October 9th. The second rice field art venue will be open after October 10 (Admission is 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary school students). Free for preschoolers. Until October 9th.
