On September 24th, the dance performance performance "The Little Match Girl" will be held at the Aomori Museum of Art Theater (Yasuda Konno, Aomori City).

This performance is performed by the 6th generation of "DREAMER", which consists of 10 students from the 5th grade to the 1st grade in high school. Children from the Tsugaru area who are selected at each audition will participate. Mr. Yui Kojima, the leader of the 6th generation, is also the 1st generation who participated in the youngest, and some of the members have children with hands dancing experience.

The performance was different every year, but "Match-selling girl" is the same as the 1st gen. Nobuo Iwabuchi, the organizer of the Hirosaki Arts and Dance Executive Committee, said, "It will be a remake, but it will be a completely new content."

The practice starts in July and takes place during the three months of the children's summer vacation. Mr. Iwabuchi said, “We practice in a style where the instructor supports the dance choreography and performance by voluntarily considering them. One person plays multiple roles, and each movement performed in the background and on the side of the stage is a child. It makes us think."

The project started to increase opportunities for children to get involved in performing arts. Some of the members who have participated in the past are said to have gone on to entertainers and won national championships in dance. “I also started with the purpose of raising the next generation of performers, and I would like small children to see and be interested in expressions using their bodies,” says Iwabuchi.

Performance time is about 75 minutes. In addition to the theater, performances will also be performed at Space Denega (Kamigaraga-cho, Hirosaki City) on October 21st and 22nd.
