On September 7, Konan Railway (Hirakawa City, Aomori Prefecture) held a "photo panel exhibition" in a parked vehicle at Hiraga Station to commemorate the 90th anniversary of its opening.

The same project will exhibit 72 photographs owned by the company and the Hirakawa City Board of Education, and about 30 related materials such as station name marks and past tickets on two event vehicles. The exhibition photos will include a train mixed with passengers taken in 1940 (Showa 15) and a photo that will be shown for the first time.

Konan Railway was established in 1926 (Taisho 15) and opened between Hirosaki and Tsugaru Onoue on September 7, 1927 (Showa 2). Currently operating the Owani and Konan lines. The company's own Russell car is used as an active snow plow, and the train Tokyu 7000 series that has been transferred from Tokyu Corporation is still in use, so some railroad fans often go there.

On September 1, the company announced the 90th anniversary logo and submitted it as a vehicle headmark. We are selling 2018 calendars from September 7th to the 90th anniversary. The 13 railroad photographs used for the calendar were selected from the 187 points that were collected in the open call for participants from April to June this year. They are sold at Hirosaki Station, Hiraga Station, Kuroishi Station on the Konan Line, and Owani Station on the Owani Line and Chuo Hirosaki Station. The price is 1,000 yen.

A person in charge of the Hirakawa City Board of Education calls for "I want many people to see the history of the past so that older people can look back on the past and young people can look back". ..

Holding time is from 9:00 to 16:00. Free viewing. Closed on September 18th and 21st. Until October 29th.
