On August 24, at the Hirosaki Park Hotel (Toshimachi, Hirosaki City), a baseball team for adults, "Hirosaki Alleds", held a celebration of the "Minister's Genki Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award".

Hirosaki Alledz is a club team of adult hardball baseball team formed in 2012. More than 20 players who continue to play baseball while working for companies and groups around Hirosaki belong. This award was given to a team that contributed to regional revitalization such as volunteer activities, and it was the first time for a club team to win the award.

The award was announced on July 10th, and the award ceremony was held on July 14th at the opening ceremony of the 88th Intercity Baseball Tournament held at Tokyo Dome (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo). The reason for the selection was that they evaluated "A-Field activities" such as baseball lessons for children, helping apple farmers with harvesting, snow shoveling at homes of the elderly, and popularizing activities through online broadcasting of games in collaboration with university students. ..

At the celebration, director Masaru Imaseki said, "I think I won the best in Japan for activities other than baseball. I have already lost this year's tournament, but I'm sure that I will win the best in baseball as well," he said with enthusiasm. With the aim of not only expanding the baseball population but also producing professional baseball players from Hirosaki, I would like to continue to focus on human resource development using baseball as a tool."

Ryota Kubo, the director, said, “I am honored to be awarded the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award from 349 club teams nationwide. It was because of the players who actively participated in activities other than baseball. As a result of the guidance and cooperation of many people, we would like to continue to devote ourselves to becoming a model for club teams nationwide, which we have been aiming for since the beginning.
