On the 2nd of July, the "Kamido Morning Market" started at the "Ekidote Promenade" in Hirosaki.

The event started in 2014 on the promenade near the Michinoku Bank Kami-Dote-cho branch (Dote-cho, Hirosaki City). It is open every Sunday and plans to open about 10 stores each time, including stalls selling vegetables and fruits, coffee shops, side dishes and grilled fish specialty stores, and bakeries.

According to Takashi Kamio of Kamidote Morning Market Executive Committee, 13 stores opened on the first day and there were about 200 visitors. "The Asaichi shopping ticket" (1,000 yen, sold out as soon as the number of preparations runs out) for 1,300 yen that can be used for one season is gaining popularity, "some people bought 10 tickets," said Gumi.

Mr. Gumi said, "Many people sell delicatessen that can be eaten on the spot, so many people use it for breakfast. Since there are no conditions or restrictions to open a store, those who want to open a store feel free to apply. Please call me."

A 30-year-old man living in Hirosaki who visited with a couple said, "There is a person who enjoys drinking beer from the morning and has a friendly atmosphere. There are big morning markets in Aomori and Hachinohe, but not in Hirosaki. I'll do it."

Holding time is from 6:00 to 8:30. Closed on August 13th. Until October 29th.
