    On June 16th, in Shinsato, Hirosaki City, a udon specialty store, “Kanseimensho” (TEL 0172-55-0081) opened.

    The same shop that also has a noodle shop. Mizuho Kami, the second son of a long-established Kuroishi soba restaurant, opened at the site of Udonya Ichiban, which closed in March 2016. The noodle maker has been in operation since April, and the udon produced is shipped to the Tsugaru area as well as Odate City, Akita Prefecture.

    "The flour used for udon sticks to Aomori Prefecture. We are particular about the freshness of udon," said Kami.

    The store area is about 20 tsubo and the number of seats is 26. Boil udon after listening to customers' orders in a self-serve manner. In addition to udon, Yamagata specialty Tori Chuka (650 yen) is also offered. Kami says, "The ramen noodles made from soba noodles are unforgettable. I really wanted to serve them."

    The udon menu is "Zaru" "Kake" (more than 330 yen), Bukkake (460 yen), Grated natto (490 yen), Meat (600 yen), Kamonanban (780 yen), Curry (550 yen), Yamamori Cheese curry (690 yen), cutlet curry (800 yen). Tempura (10 kinds, starting from 100 yen) and rice ball (3 kinds, starting from 120 yen) will be prepared as toppings.

    Mr. Kami said, "The strength of our shop is that we can use the udon noodles that arrive directly from the noodle mill. We will continue to offer udon noodles that have a strong texture and a chewy texture."

    Business hours are from 11:00 to 15:00. Closed on Thursdays.
