A large dance and performance festival "SHIROFES.2017" will be held from June 30 to July 2 at Hirosaki Park (Shimohiragincho, Hirosaki City) and Hirosaki University (Bunkyocho).

The event will include workshops, live performances by local artists, art works exhibitions, food and drink booths, and projection mapping to Hirosaki Castle. Two duo workshops will be held by dancers from Japan and overseas.

On the 1st, the final qualifying tournament in Asia, "POP Dance 1on1 Battle "SAMURAI" Asian Tournament" and "BREAK Dance Battle" will be held for the participation of "POP Dance Battle World Tournament" that will be held the next day. Winners of the domestic qualifying held on June 18 in Neyagawa, Osaka, and invited players from China, South Korea, and Taiwan will also participate.

On the 2nd, performance live performances and a food and drink booth unique to Hirosaki will be set up mainly for the "POP Dance 1on1 Battle "SAMURAI" World Tournament" (17:00-) where invited players from all over the world will participate. A space called "FES_VILLAGE by Primavista" will be set up in the venue to serve as a place for music performances and relaxation by DJs.
