On August 9, women working in agriculture in Hirosaki will hold a "Agricultural Girl de Meeting Night" to get the farmers to know the actual situation. Sponsored by "Agricultural Girl Summit".

The event is planned by "agricultural girls" who are worried about the lack of successors to their family's agriculture as a marriage. The trigger was the small talk between the farm girls who said, "The farmer's marriage hunting event is from a male perspective."

“We just happened to be in the field,” said Shiko Sakamoto, a representative. “It's easy to think of a farmer's successor as a man, but I'd like to know that there are many women's successors.”

All of the participating agricultural girls are seven women in their 20s and 30s living in the suburbs of Hirosaki, mainly apple farmers. “We don't meet each other in the round trip between the field and the house. We don't mind having a fluttering day,” says Sakamoto. Each profile will be released on Facebook page.

Targeting single men nationwide. On that day, at the cider workshop “Kimori” that just opened in May in apple park (Shimizu, Hirosaki City), we will compare apple juice drinks and cook dishes using vegetables grown by farmers.
