On July 2nd, "Let's try a calligraphy too free exhibition" and an exhibition will be held at "Hiroro," a commercial complex in front of Hirosaki Station (Ekimae-cho, Hirosaki City).

The event was planned to let people touch the calligraphy on a free theme without being restricted by the subject matter. The event is sponsored by the "Japanese Education Calligraphy Association" Sakura-style calligraphy class (Fujisaki Town). A calligraphy exhibition is held in March every year, and the topic is called “too free calligraphy exhibition” on the Internet.

So far, the theme of the exhibition has been dealing with unique subjects such as "brand of sake," "favorite entertainer," "samurai sword," and this year the theme was the killer technique that appeared in the manga "Hokuto no Ken". It was also introduced on the official blog of Tetsuo Hara, a manga artist who worked on the film.

On the day of the event, you can write a brush with your favorite theme and take the work you wrote home with you, or display it at the venue. Sakurafuze Miura, who presides over the classroom, calls for many people, both experienced and new, to come and experience the reduced opportunity of having a brush.

Holding time is 10:30, 11:30, 14:00, 15:00. Free to join. Reservation is prioritized, but jump-in participation is accepted. Demonstrations will be conducted by students from the same classroom from 13:00.
