Hirosaki's antique furniture store "RandBEAN" opened on June 3, celebrating its 5th anniversary.

The same store that Takamitsu Sato started by renting an apple warehouse. In November 2012, it moved to the shopping district "Rene's Avenue" (Hirosaki City, Dote Town), and in October 2015, it moved to the Nakasan Hirosaki Store (Hirosaki City, Dote Town). In September of the same year, we opened a branch at Nakasan Aomori Store (Shinmachi, Aomori City).

Originally, the store name was "R and Bean" in English with the initial "R" for repair (repair) or remake (remake) of old furniture and "bean" which was Mr. Sato's nickname. “Customers have come to call me Land Bean, and I like it, so I decided to change the store name,” says Sato.

At the beginning of the business, it was a store specializing in antique furniture, but I think that turning the point of turning to new furniture became a turning point. "In Hirosaki, there are many stores that sell antique furniture, and we aimed for the demand for the gap," he said.

Since then, it has been decided to open stores in the Nakasan Aomori store and Hirosaki store, and “the work is steadily expanding and the number of things I want to do is increasing,” says Mr. Sato. “After graduating from high school, I wanted to get involved in woodworking, so I went to Tokyo to study guitar making. I've been allowed to do a job I couldn't even imagine at that time,” he says with a smile.

Looking back over five years, Mr. Sato said, “I had a lot of experiences that I gained because I took on the challenge. From now on, I would like to collaborate with the furniture of our shop and the miscellaneous goods and accessories created by the craftsmen's handi I want to set up a different sales method."

Business hours are from 10:00 to 19:00. The regular holidays are based on the Nakasan Hirosaki store.
