    Soup stand "SOUP RIDERS" opened in Hirosaki on June 10th.

    The same restaurant that mainly serves corn soup and offers light meals and coffee. Yuka Saito, the owner of the shop, loves soup and says, “I had a coffee stand, but there weren't many soup stands and I didn't have one in Hirosaki, so I wanted to try it myself,” he said of the opening.

    "Soup rider" means surfing beginner. He started surfing with his husband, but Saito himself said that he couldn't improve forever, and the name of the store was souped.

    The store area is about 11 tsubos. There are 6 seats. The store has been in operation for over 20 years, and it used a house that was closed in Italy's Italian restaurant "Italy" which closed in April this year, but inside the store, outdoor goods such as surf camps were exhibited and it was renovated by Mr. Saito's couple.

    “When I was thinking about opening a store, I happened to find a property,” said Saito. The glass paint on the window glass at the store was said to be "I asked someone I met by chance." He smiles, saying, "A shop where unexpected encounters and timings overlap."

    The menu is corn soup, onion soup (300 yen or more), today's soup (200-500 yen), baguette (2 cuts, 100 yen), hot sand (300 yen-), hot coffee (250 yen), various sodas ( Prepare 200 yen or more. A limited number of baguette set (400 yen) and soup and mini salad with hot salad (600 yen) will be offered during lunch time (11:00 to 14:00).

    Saito says, "I want many people to enjoy the goodness of the soup, which makes me feel relaxed when I drink it, and I am satisfied with my small stomach. If you feel free to drop by," he said.
