Kudo Pan (Kanazawa, Aomori City) announced on May 27th a British toast in collaboration with Aomori Toyopet (Shinoda).

Kudo Bread's main product, "British Toast," is a confectionery bread with the British flag designed on the package and sandwiched between two mountain-shaped loaves of margarine and granulated sugar. Celebrating its 50th anniversary last year, it is also called Aomori Prefecture's soul food. There is a wide variety of different contents, and there is also a sister item, "British French Toast".

Aomori Toyopet, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, spoke to Kudo Pan this time as a collaboration project with a local company. According to Kudo Pan, this is the first novelty collaboration.

Kudo Pan's Kazumi Hirai says, "Initially it was a collaboration bread project other than British toast, but in the process of narrowing down the story, it became an English toast."

The package uses Ayomori Toyopet's mascot character "Toyopi" and the taste is "Toyopi no honey flavor" (honey & margarine). It is said that 3.8% of Aomori honey is used during the honey filling process.

Aomori Toyopet and 24 T-UP stores in the prefecture will be distributed free to visitors on weekends until June 25. It ends as soon as the number of preparations is exhausted.
