Mr. NON, who started music activity in Tokyo after graduating from a local high school, built his own musicality by self-taught against the background of the punk movement of the 1970s, jumped in as a bassist and participated in live performances, and also developed solo activities for bass playing. .. "NON BAND" was formed in 1979 (Showa 54).

The band released their first album on the independent label "Telegraph Records" in February 1982 after the members changed. The album sold a total of 2000 pieces and became a popular band of punk rock, but in the autumn of the same year, it stopped activities.

NON continued music activities even after the band stopped, and now he is moving his base to Hirosaki and is putting effort into transmitting information on blogs as well as live performances.

"NON BAND" resumed its activity in 1999, and has been active energetically, such as participating in live performances and music events in Tokyo and releasing an album of live performances in 2012.

This is the first album that has been released on CD twice, but this is the first time it has been released on an analog record. NON says, "I got an email from Stefan Schneider, who lives in Germany last summer."

According to Stefan, he is interested in "NON BAND" that was introduced in the book "Dokkiri" that introduces Japanese underground music, and it is an analog board from the label "TAL" run by Schneider. He asked NON to sell it again.

NON shows a smile, "I was just drawn to the meaning that the band name is not a band."

"I felt something I couldn't find in other bands of the same era I've heard so far. (When creating the board), I mastered and restored the original sound source at the mastering studio in Berlin," Schneider said. "At that time, it was a 25 cm LP disc, but this time we adopted a 30 cm LP disc that was particular about sound quality."

NON, who didn't have a record player, asked a store that had a player and brought it in for listening. “It's packed with trial and error and freshness at the time,” says NON. "I'm glad I kept listening to the music from buyers in their twenties and thirties who had never heard a performance, saying, "Music that you hear for the first time,".

NON also shows his future musical activities, saying, "I am able to continue to play my favorite music while being taken care of by various people. I want to continue singing even when I am bedridden in bed."
