There is a hot topic on the Internet that the char siu noodles from the “Genkotsuya” ramen shop in Hirosaki (Izumino, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-87-8525) are “not eatable”.

Hirosaki's Twitter account "Bay Natsu no Natsuo." visited the shop on April 13 and ordered the pork noodles "I just casually asked ..." with an image tweet, " More than 20,000 were retweeted by voices such as "I can't eat" and "It's really pork face", and it became a topic.

“Bay slaughtered Natsuo.” said, “I was seconded to Kyushu for three years and ordered to eat local dried broth ramen instead of pork bones. I'm glad that the visual impact was shared through Twitter."

According to the store owner, Hidechika Kasai, this char siu noodles began to be served more than 15 years ago and has been talked about many times in the past on TV and local newspapers. "It's becoming a hot topic again," Kasai smiled.

The reason why we started to offer it was that when a college student who was a regular customer ordered char siu noodles only when he got a part-time job fee, Mr. Kasai added a lot of char siu at the service. "At the beginning, I was the only university student, but other customers started to order, and I couldn't refuse, so I started."

The same menu that offers more than 20 sliced homemade char siu, 250 grams. Mr. Kasai carefully arranges each one. The price increased from 950 yen to 1,300 yen from last year's Golden Week. "In the beginning, we were prepared for the deficit, and we offered it under conditions such as eating alone and limited quantity, but it became a popular main menu. Now there are no special conditions," Kasai said. He laughs if he hasn't eaten because he can't eat it.

It is said that tourists now order from overseas, and women in their 70s have completed their meals in the past. Mr. Kasai said, "If you can enjoy eating a lot of stomach, I would like to continue to offer it."
