Konan Railway (Hirakawa City, Aomori Prefecture) has started a public call for photos to be posted on the "2018 Konan Railway Calendar" on April 1, in line with the 90th anniversary of its opening.

Under the theme of "Konan Railway of the four seasons", we are looking for photographs of active vehicles and facilities running on the Konan Line and Owani Line. In the first attempt at Konan Railway, 13 works will be selected from the submitted works, and the highest-prize work will be used on the cover and the 12 best-prize works will be used for each month's photographs.

On the Konan Railway, Russell vehicles are used as working vehicles for winter snow removal, and the Tokyu 7000 series, which was transferred from Tokyu Corporation, is still in use. As the train still remains in the car, some railroad fans can easily go there as the “Tokyu Line in Aomori”.

Shinya Funakoshi of the company said, “Thanks to everyone who came to take pictures from all over the country. According to what I heard, I felt that many of the pictures I took were asleep, so I felt it was a waste. I want you to send it."

A4 size saddle stitched calendar. The selection results will be announced on September 7, the anniversary of the opening of business. It will be pre-sold at the Railway Day event held in Tokyo at Hibiya Park in October, and will be sold sequentially at each station.

Deadline is June 30th.
