On March 31st, the "Flying Witch" production committee and others withdrew the anime signs and wrapping vehicles that were being deployed in Hirosaki City.

"Flying Witch" is a manga by Hirohiro-born resident manga artist Chihiro Ishizuka, set in Hirosaki, and is currently serialized in "Separate Volume Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). A witch's apprenticeship depicts the daily life of a high school girl hero. From April to June last year, it was made into a TV animation on the Nippon TV series.

In Hirosaki, various activities are being carried out with the aim of raising the excitement of the local community. At the Hirosaki Sakura Festival last year, a character was used as a poster, and at the Hirosaki Neputa Festival, a "Character Neputa" contest was held. At the Snow Lantern Festival held in February this year, a character appeared in collaboration with the projection mapping of a snow statue.

The large signboard that had been installed in front of the central entrance of JR Hirosaki Station for about two years from May 2015 was removed on March 30. On the Konan Railway, a wrapping train with characters drawn inside and outside the car runs according to the anime broadcast. Initially, we also provided services such as using voice actors that appeared in in-car announcements, but at the end of the train leaving Hirosaki Chuo Station at 16:30 on the 31st, the train ended.

Two railroad fans from Kanagawa and Yokohama who were shooting the wrapping car near the station said, "I'm not an anime fan, but I knew it was the last service. Take valuable pictures that I can never take again. I was able to do it."

According to a person in charge of the Hirosaki Film Commission Executive Committee, the wrapping vehicles being carried out on the Konan Bus had been announced until the end of March, but will continue until early April.
