The "Snowmobile Kokeshi no Sato Challenge Cup Kuroishi Tournament" was held on March 11-12 at a special venue in front of the Tsugaru Traditional Crafts Museum (Fukuro Toyama, Kuroishi City).

This is the third tournament this year. Yoshinobu Sato, the organizer, lives in Kuroishi and is an active player who won 8th place in this year's All Japan Championship Super Class. "We hope that it will be a tournament where the bases of snowmobiles will be broadened so that local enthusiasts can easily participate."

This is the first time for two days. On the 11th, we invited Yusuke Sano, who is the champion of the 3rd consecutive championship in the All Japan Championship Super Class from Hokkaido. At the venue, Mr. Sato and Mr. Sano showed free-style jumps, etc. using a jump platform with a total length of about 18 meters, as well as free ride experience sessions for visitors.

On the 12th of the next day, 120 people, more than double the number of the previous competition, participated and raced in 9 categories. Some people participated from Nagano and Gunma. According to the organizer's announcement, more than 1,000 people came and the spectators who were clamoring for it were looking at the power of the snowmobile.

After the tournament, Mr. Sato said, “I think it's the best every year, but this year it was the best event than last year. I was able to see not only the athletes but also the children who came. I want to hold it again next year I show a smile."
