Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store (Hirosaki-shi station square) underground passage On March 11th, "Sakura-style calligraphy classroom work exhibition", which attracts attention on the Internet as "too free", has started.

This exhibition displays the work of 21 children attending the “Japanese Education Calligraphy Association” Sakura-style calligraphy class (Fujisaki Town). Sakurafu Miura from the same class started with a playful theme four years ago, saying, "I want children to have fun and have a brush with a playful feel."

So far, we have set unique themes such as "brands of sake," "great samurai swords," "favorite celebrities," and "deep sea creatures." This year's theme includes the special moves that appear in the cartoon "Fist of the North Star", famous castles across the country, letters of thanks, dinosaurs, and unfortunate body creatures. The number of exhibits is about 350, which is said to be the largest ever.

Mr. Miura said, “Every year, children choose a theme that looks cool when written with a brush and is surprising for children to write. “Hokuto no Ken” is a generation that children don't know about, but parents think they will be happy. I had a hard time finding the last mistake in kanji, etc.”

A woman in her 30s living in Hirosaki, who stopped herself and pointed at the camera, smiles, saying, "It may be the first calligraphy exhibition that is so diverse and so enjoyable."

Holding time is from 9:00 to 21:00. free entrance. Until March 31st.
